Additional Notes[edit]

An elderly woman says to you,

'If you will sit here a moment, I will tell you of the legend of Shadmire.
Years ago, around the time I was born, Samrah the golden dragon decided to make its lair in Shadmire.'
At the time, Shadmire was only a section of the wilderness which adventurers from across the realm would visit
in an attempt to gain some glory or fame.
Dark, evil monsters once dwelled in Shadmire, which is why it was so important for the fortune-seeking knight
or lord to visit and slay some creatures.
But after Samrah built its lair, the monsters all fled to it and the knights and lords of the realm stopped coming
for fear of the dragon and the enormous mass of united creatures.
The game of the wilderness - foxes, rats, raccoons, rabbits and the like - all retreated and went into other sections
 of the woodlands.
But, as if you haven't noticed by now, bears still populate the area for some reason which I don't understand.
Maybe it's for the privacy, or something.'
